Our main focus will be musculoskeletal conditions and a technique referred to as "Dry Needling".
After 2 years of studying and practice Dr. Farrah,DC is now licensed with the State of Florida to perform Acupuncture as part of our menu of services. Dr. Farrah, DC is focusing on treatments that follow a more western approach to this ancient eastern treatment. He will be focusing his treatments on musculoskeletal conditions such as Low Back Pain, Neck Pain, Headaches, Trigger Points and Muscle Spasms. Evidence from trigger point injections has shown that, regardless of the substance injected into the trigger point, the body responds positively to this treatment, because it is the act of inserting a needle into the trigger point that helps relieve the symptoms, not the drugs they are injecting. Working from this model Dr. Farrah, DC uses very fine acupuncture needles to stimulate the bodies own healing mechanisms, energy flow and physiological pathways to help relieve some of the most common orthopedic conditions today.
